Whitney Way Thore is speaking out on comments about her weight. This past weekend, the "My Big Fat Fabulous Life" star posted an Instagram video of her showing off her Mardi Gras attire as she celebrated her dad's birthday. Followers commented on the post with remarks about her appearance, with some speculating that she looked slimmer and one asking if she'd gotten surgery. She then edited her caption with a message to fans that shed light on her weight loss and shared that she doesn't appreciate the focus on her body. Whitney wrote, "I hate addressing this, but no, I have not had medical intervention to lose weight. In 2015 (season 1), I weighed 385 pounds. In 2018, I lost 50 pounds. When my mom got sick and eventually died, I lost 50 more. I weigh 285 pounds and I have been this weight for almost a year now. This is the second time in my life I’ve lost 100 pounds. I’m still very fat. Thank you for the compliments, but I really don’t like obsessing over my body and I don’t like it when others do it either." » SUBSCRIBE: https://bit.ly/SubscribeToAccess » Visit Our Website: http://accessonline.com Get More Access : Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/accesshollywood/ Twitter: https://twitter.com/accesshollywood Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/accesshollywood/
