Wellbutrin (Bupropion) can be used in Adult ADHD. Typical doses are at the higher end of doses when used for depression (300 - 450 mg). While this medication can be effective for some (and has less abuse potential than medications like adderall, ritalin or vyvanse, it can have several side effects. Patients with anxiety disorders, eating disorders or seizures disorders may not be good candidates for this medication. Do not start, stop or change medications without speaking directly with your provider.
