If there was one type of exercise or movement that helps weight loss the most, what do you think it is? Is definitely not steady-state cardio. It's well known that excessive cardio can increase cortisol, lower testosterone, and decrease thyroid signaling and reduce your metabolism, which is obviously not good for fat loss. Lifting weights and resistance training is extremely effective and highly encouraged since you can actually grow your muscles which are more metabolically active, but it's not the best. The answer to the million-dollar question is walking. And if you do this throughout the day, even better. Humans are bipedal animals and were designed to walk upright. Almost all people are physically able to do this, don't need a monthly membership, or need to spend thousands of dollars on equipment. You can literally do this in your bare feet, which actually has tons of other benefits, it's low impact and easy on your joints, and it gets you outside which is great for vitamin d synthesis and balancing out your blue to red light ratio. Try to get 10k Steps a day, go for a walk after eating, and make this a big priority. People are full of excuses.
