Hugh Bonneville left The One Show viewers scratching their heads on Wednesday night as he appeared via a video link with a 'weird' filtered and seemingly airbrushed face. The Downton Abbey actor, 57, surprised fans with his flawless appearance as he appeared on the BBC evening show to discuss his film To Olivia, in which he plays Roald Dahl. Viewers took to Twitter to comment on Hugh's youthful appearance, with some joking he had been in a 'space time vortex from the 1980s', while others said it looked like he had smeared his screen with Vaseline and was 'living in filterland'.  Hugh had appeared to have picked the skin smoothing filter on Zoom, which gave the illusion of an airbrushed face.The touch-up filter helps to 'smooth out the skin tone on your face, to present a more polished looking appearance'.  One viewer wrote: 'Hugh Bonneville was on the one show other night and I never knew he wears too much makeup on screen as didn't recognise him'.Another added: 'Is that a CGI image of Hugh Bonneville on the one show?' How did he lose all that weight!!!,' tweeted a different viewer.  Hugh is best known for his role in Downton Abbey as Robert Crawley - a role he reprised in the Downton Abbey film which came out last year.This role has won him two Emmy nominations and, along with fellow cast members, won three SAG Awards for Outstanding Performance by an Ensemble in a Drama. The actor has lost a considerable amount of weight throughout lockdown and sent fans into a frenzy when he debuted his transformation when he appeared on The One Show last year. Hugh later showed off his epic transformation once again in a snap shared on Twitter as he met up with his best friend from university for a drink. The actor stars in the Sky Original film To Olivia with Keeley Hawes and it will be released on Friday.  The Paddington star and the Keeley, 44, will play legendary children's author Roald Dahl and his American actress
