Homemade Cava 👇🏻 * 1 lb of chicken thigh * Black pepper and garlic salt to taste * 1/3 cups of Cucumber * 1/3 cup of Tomato * 1/4 cup of Kalamata olives * 1 lemon * 1-2 tbsp of Hummus * Pita bread * 2 tbsp of Feta cheese * 1/2 tsp of dried oregano * 1 cup of dried rice * 2 tbsp of chicken bullion 1. Steam 1 cup of washed uncooked rice with 2 cups of water and 2 tbsp of chicken bullion. 2. Chop tomatoes, cucumbers, and olives into small even pieces and combine with 1/2 a juice of a lemon, salt, and pepper. 3. Grill your chicken and season with garlic salt, black pepper, and oregano. 4. Assemble your bowl with rice as your base. Add you chicken, Greek salad, hummus, and pickled onions. Top with feta and a side of warm pita. Pickled Red Onion * 1/2 red onion * 1/3 cup water * 1/4 cup sugar * 1/3 cup + 2 tbsp white vinegar * 2 tsp salt 1. Thinly slice onions 2. Combine sugar, salt, vinegar, and water. 3. Microwave for 30-45 seconds or until sugar dissolves 4. Store in an airtight jar for 1-2 days and eat!
