Well it is a chemical that is naturally found in our bodies and regulates vital functions within our cells. It kinda does it all in terms of forming, activating, or breaking down other chemicals in our body. It's like a hippie hitchhiker in the sense it attaches itself to an ATP molecule and just cruises around our blood system. Some people's bodies don't really like hitchhikers so Sam-E doesn't circulate as much and that can reflect a few things such as Depression, liver disease, and osteoarthritis. It is said that low levels of Sam-E can be a factor in the above mentioned. As far as the science it is almost there. In the matter that there seems to be a pretty wide acceptance of it, however a lot of the studies that were conducted included people taking this intravenously. Not much was done with people taking this in pill form. and this supplement is in pill form. It can also take a couple weeks to start kicking in with this Doctor's Best Supplement as well. So make sure you factor that in when taking this. I've taken a few supplements with Sam-E and I thought I felt a difference. As far as what people are saying about this Sam-E supplement is that it seems to be all pretty positive. Doctor's Best Sam-E rates 4.1 stars and a lot of people seem to be liking it and how it improves your mood. Some people not saying they didn't feel a difference. As always the choice is yours on this one. It does cost $35 for 60 servings which is about a two month supply. So you are just spending .50 cents a day to see if it works.
