One of my Morning Tonics:▫️ 6 ounces warm water ▫️1 tablespoon lemon juice ▫️1 cap of ACV (apple cider vinegar) ▫️1/2 teaspoon ground ginger ▫️1/2 teaspoon cinnamon (ceylon cinnamon is best) ▫️1/2 - 1 tablespoon raw honey (local if you can) ▫️1/4 tsp pure vanilla extract ▫️optional: dash of turmeric + black pepper Other things I have done to help: 1️⃣ I make sure my meals are balanced, this included breakfast! This means not just a carb source, but rather pairing it with a fat and protein source!➡️ 2 eggs, bacon, 1/2 avocado on sourdough toast. Eggs = protein + fat, bacon protein + fat, 1/2 avocado = fat, sourdough toast = carb! This is just one example of a blood sugar balanced meal. 2️⃣ I don’t get on my phone first thing in the morning. I’ll do face to sun, red light or SAD light for a few minutes! 🔴 TANGIBLE ACTION STEP: So tomorrow, try something simple like warm lemon water, eat a little food like berries or nuts, then try sip on that coffee or caffeinated beverage of choice and see how you feel!
