I'm not here to tell you what to do. I'm here to share what worked for me and helped me lose body fat quickly within the first month of quitting drinking. Alcohol can lead to weight gain by adding empty calories, slowing fat burning, increasing appetite, and causing overeating, especially with sugary drinks, not to mention what it does to your mindset and motivation. I personally got tired of feeling terrible the day after drinking. I felt like I was wasting time when I could have been more productive. Now, I sleep better, have better control over my weight, strengthen my immune function, and improve my mental clarity. I don't need alcohol anymore to enjoy life. I’m content without it. So, if you're trying to get fit, I'd recommend cutting it out initially.
