A Toronto woman has come forward with a powerful warning about the drug Ozempic, which has become popular because of the dramatic weight loss some people say it has helped them to achieve. Emily Wright’s doctor prescribed the drug to treat Type 2 diabetes but she now has a condition known as stomach paralysis – and she believes it was caused by Ozempic. “Ozempic has ruined my understanding of food and my relationship with food and I have no understanding or knowledge of when I’m going to get better,” Wright says.
